Seems all the hoping and wishing I did for snow decided to pay off in February. I've been looking at the photos I've taken and there doesn't seem to be very many for this month. It could be due to a month of negative temperatures that kept us inside like the rest of the province. I will admit it was pretty neat seeing everyone hibernate. The streets were so quiet, cars drove slower and lights glowed from most living rooms like a beacon of solitude. I was also pleased that Goose and I didn't have to shovel/salt any sidewalks or driveways. I may get tired of hearing my neighbors some days but apartment living does have a lot of perks that I had forgotten about.
The only scouting mission we had this month was to the maritime museum since it was indoors. We learned quite a bit about the harbour, it's surrounding islands and the ties the town has to the Titanic.
